We are looking for people who love baking!! This is a role for people who prefer not sitting still while creating beautiful doughnuts! The primary role of the Bakerposition is to consistently produce fresh, high-quality doughnuts quickly and efficiently. Creativity in producing unique donut flavors and decorating is valued. Baker experience is not required but preferred.

Hours
This position is Overnight / 3rd shift – 2:00 AM to 8:00 AM

What will you do?

• Weighing and mixing the raw materials according to recipes
• Prepare dough, glaze, icing and fillings
• Rolling and cutting the dough, hand-making other yeast-raised products
• Controlling the temperature and humidity of the proofer
• Read equipment dials, use weights and measuring devices
• Frying all cake and yeast-raised donuts
• Finishing and decorating of products
• Completing special orders as requested
• Lift and move 50-75-pound bags based on the task assigned
• Taking inventory and restocking of ingredients
• Stocking pan racks and display counters
• Cleaning of equipment and kitchen area
• Work as needed until all product is produced for that business day
• Practice food safety policies and procedures
• Adhere to Daylight Donut policies, procedures, and training guidelines

Barista/Cafe experience is not required but preferred.

Hours
This position is needed all day.  The shop opens Weekdays – 6:00 am to 6:00 pm; Saturday – 6:00 am to Noon. Flexibility on shifts is available.

• Shift 1/Sat – 6:00 am to 12:00 pm
• Shift 2 – 11:00 am to Close

What will you do?

• Welcome all guests with enthusiasm and positivity
• Demonstrate a high level of customer service
• Have extensive knowledge of our menu; respond to customers’ enquiries
• Take customer orders in person and on the phone
• Operate cash register and handle payment transactions
• Prepare drinks & packaging of donuts as per order
• Ability to handle hot and cold products
• Lift up to 25 lbs
• Must be willing and able to stand for extended hours
• Assist with product (donuts) finish & stock display counters prior to opening
• Cleaning, Restocking, and Sanitizing of workstation, dining areas and restroom
• Opening / Closing of store responsibilities
• Practice food safety policies and procedures
• Adhere to Daylight Donut policies, procedures, and training guidelines
• Additional duties may be assigned
